* I have interviewed a wide variety of well-known people in government, civic affairs, business and entertainment. * I helped the revived Brooklyn Daily Eagle to grow from a small specialized publication that people read mainly for its legal ads to one that is widely read by decision-makers in city government, the courts and private industry. * I managed a staff of reporters and served as liaison with our production department. * I built up a database of sources that was extremely valuable to myself and other staffers. * I' have freelanced for a wide variety of publications, some of which include Newsday, the American Airlines in-flight magazine, Editor and Publisher, Hadassah Magazine, Railway Age and HFN. * I have done newsletter work for the College of Mt. St. Vincent and the Bronx Council on the Arts. * I'm proficient in Microsoft Office, Drupal webside management and other programs. * I'm a frequent user of social media, including Facebook, Reddit and Twitter. * I've led historical walking tours for the Transit Museum and the Center for the Urban Environment. * I'm an elected judicial delegate in Manhattan as well as a member of the New York County Democratic Committee. * I'm a lifelong railfan. * I participated in two archaeological digs, and won certificates of commendation. * I served as a volunteer stage manager for the Atlantic Antic, NYC's largest street fair. * I am now a member of the Co-op Council of the Penn South co-op and serve on several committees.
